National Science Foundation Awards Potomac Photonics, Inc. a Phase II SBIR Grant to develop Energy Storage, Electrical Distribution, and Packaging for Wireless Sensor Networks-February 1, 2011.

Potomac Photonics, Inc. announced that it has been awarded a $500,000 Small Business Innovation Research Phase II Grant to continue work begun by Principal Investigator Paul Christensen with SBIR Phase I funding.  The two-year effort will all advanced interconnect, power, and packaging concepts for wireless sensor network nodes to be readied for commercialization.   Potomac will continue to team with advanced battery manufacturer FlexEl, Inc. to produce highly miniaturized wireless sensor platforms with flexible form factors.
